Back in January we delivered the tech for an annual conference, activity day and after party for a global company.
The company annual conference didn’t see us traveling far this time, as it was held in Liverpool. The conference was held in Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel (The Rum Warehouse). Activities at Liverpool Watersport’s Centre, and finally the after party in The Invisible Wind Factory. All of which welcomed 350 of the companies employees come together for training, recognition of great work and brand engagement.
Working with our great friends at D3 Events who delivered the event management and production management, BGLX Production Services delivered all the AV for the event, including lighting, sound, staging, video, and pyrotechnics, with Lasers provided by Just Beam It.
For the conference, BGLX used two 16ft screens and Panasonic RZ970’s to deliver the companies exhilarating videos of their progress throughout the year, while our d&b Audiotechnik speakers helped produce clear and intelligible sound throughout the venue. The lighting design incorporated the feel of the historic venue, by using retro fixtures like the Vintage Blaze reflector lamp as well as Sunstrips and blinders, all Tungsten, to give us a really nice glow and good looking set as the back drop for the event.
In the afternoon, the delegates headed to the water sports centre, for an afternoon competition on Dragon Boats. BGLX provided a DJ set up of DJM900 Nexus Mk2 and CDJ 2000’s Nexus Mk2 with radio mic for a commentator to entertain the crowds on the quayside.
Back over to Stanley Dock, and to the incredible Invisible Wind Factory. Where we threw an epic party starring Sink The Pink. The party kicked off with a solo singer, and then as she announced Sink the Pink, a huge 12m x 6m Kabuki drop and series of pyrotechnics, revealed the stage, set and performers, complimented perfectly with Just Beam It’s Lasers.
